DIVISIONS
HDA’s net revenue has increased seven fold in the past five years as a result of
its determination to become a value-added wholesaler within the specialty retail
market channels, a premier plan publisher and marketer, and excellent in-store merchandising
service provider.
HDA has grown from a home plan provider into the nation’s most efficient and effective
wholesaler of books and magazines to the home improvement, craft, home décor, discount,
cooking and children's market channels. Each of our three major business segments

DISTRIBUTING
With six top-of-the-line distribution facilities and accurate procedures in place,
our retailers receive accurate and timely deliveries each and every time we ship
them products. HDA has an automatic ordering and fulfillment, pick-to-light tie
line with 99.8% fill rate accuracy. HDA distributes over 1 million products weekly
to more than 15,000 retail locations every year.
Two distribution facilities in St. Louis have a combined area of 250,000 square feet. Additional facilities in Pennsylvania, Texas, Ohio and Georgia ensure even
faster delivery to other parts of the country.
PUBLISHING
HDA’s publishing team is comprised of the design and publications departments. Together
this division is responsible for all content, design, and production of HDA’s home
plan and project websites and many best-selling home plan books and magazines sold
throughout the United States. Delivering home plans directly to consumers for more
than 23 years, the publishing team constantly monitors building and consumer trends
allowing HDA to create home and project plan books that are designed with today’s
homeowners and do-it-yourselfers in mind. Today, we provide more than 30 publications
under the HDA, Inc. name as well as private label publications for some of the nation’s
leading home improvement retailers. Our in-house technical staff and friendly customer
service representatives allows HDA to provide technical information and outstanding
services to the home and project plan buyer from beginning to end. We are not just
a plan broker – we offer guidance and assistance throughout the entire home building
experience.

HDA began as a home plan publishing company and for more than 20 years has proven
